Tournament Policies

1. Registration & Payment Policy

• Full payment is required to secure a team's place in the tournament.
• Team registrations are only confirmed once payment has been received in full.
• The Tournament Committee reserves the right to allocate unpaid positions to teams on the waiting list.
• All age groups require a minium of 4 teams to procced. Organisers reserve the right to merge age groups if necessary

2. Withdrawal & Refund Policy

• Teams withdrawing 14 days or more before the tournament commencement date are eligible for a refund, less a $50 administration fee.
• No refunds will be issued for withdrawals received less than 14 days prior to the tournament.
• If a team withdraws after the draw has been released, no refund will be provided unless approved by the Tournament Committee under exceptional circumstances.

3. Team Eligibility Policy

• Teams must enter the correct age division.
• All players must be eligible for the age group in which they are registered.
• The Tournament Committee may request proof of age or player identification at any time.
• Any team found fielding an ineligible player may be subject to:
  • Match forfeiture.
  • Disqualification from the tournament.
  • Removal from future Coppa Italia tournaments.

4. Match Day Behaviour Policy

Players, coaches, team officials and spectators are expected to demonstrate respect towards:

• Referees.
• Opposing teams.
• Tournament officials and volunteers.
• Venue staff and facilities.

The following behaviour will not be tolerated:

• Abuse or intimidation.
• Discrimination or vilification.
• Aggressive or violent conduct.
• Offensive or inappropriate language.

The Tournament Committee reserves the right to issue warnings, remove individuals from the venue, or disqualify teams where appropriate.

5. Referee Decisions

• All decisions made by the match referee are final.
• No protests or appeals relating to on-field decisions will be accepted.

6. Weather Policy

• Matches will proceed in wet weather unless conditions are considered unsafe by the Tournament Committee.
• Match times, durations or formats may be adjusted if required due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Once the tournament has commenced, refunds will not be issued due to weather-related interruptions or cancellations.

7. Liability

• Teams and participants take part in the tournament at their own risk.
• Manningham Juventus FC, the Tournament Committee and venue owners accept no responsibility for:
  • Personal injury.
  • Loss or theft of personal property.
  • Damage to equipment or belongings.
• Clubs are encouraged to ensure their players are covered by appropriate insurance.

8. Photography & Media

By participating in the tournament, clubs, players and spectators acknowledge that photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event.

These images and recordings may be used by Manningham Juventus FC for:

• Tournament promotion.
• Social media.
• Club publications.
• Website and marketing material.
• Future Coppa Italia promotional activities.

9. Schedule Changes

The Tournament Committee reserves the right to:

• Amend match schedules.
• Change playing fields or venues.
• Modify competition formats.
• Combine age groups or divisions where necessary.
• Make any other changes required to ensure the successful operation of the tournament.

10. Late Arrival & Forfeits

• Teams must arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before their scheduled kick-off.
• Teams must report to the marshalling area 10 minutes prior to each match.
• A grace period of up to 10 minutes may be allowed at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
• Failure to be ready to play may result in a match being declared a forfeit.

11. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to uphold the values of:

• Respect.
• Sportsmanship.
• Inclusion.
• Fair play.
• Integrity.

The Coppa Italia Junior Cup is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all players, coaches, officials, volunteers and families. Any behaviour that brings the tournament into disrepute may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the venue or exclusion from the remainder of the tournament.

12. Tournament Committee

The Tournament Committee has the authority to interpret these rules and policies and to make decisions on any matter not specifically covered within this handbook.

All decisions made by the Tournament Committee are final.
